This cabin is locally known as "The Trapper's Cabin", and is actually one of the earliest cabins in the Forest Meadow area. Purchased from the Forest Service decades ago and moved to it's present location, the property was put on concrete piers and elevated above the land about three feet. For many years it was used extensively by a very independent young lady who grew old, and finally put it on the market in 2006. It was purchased, and has been used only a few times in the last twelve years. The cabin is wired, but not connected to the power in the street. It has a paid water hookup, and usable water hydrant, but never had the water line put in. It had one of the last outhouses on the mountain, but the snow has reclaimed that piece of history. Today, a buyer is looking at a very salvageable structure with easily connected power and active water. It will need a septic system. Since the cabin is less than 400 sq ft, it may be remain as as guest home. THE LOT IS FANTASTIC!!!
